| See discussion in White article. Webster Electric Company founded in 1900 by Towner K. Webster, originally in Ohio. Webster moved to Racine, Wisconsin in 1920-1921. In 1922 Webster began producing radio parts, and in 1923 receivers. The company soon stopped producing receivers, possibly under pressue from RCA, though continued making some radio parts. Webster Webster advertised a set in Radio, January 1923, and Radio News and QST, March 1923. |
